Since March 2021 and right through the NSW lockdown period, NSW has witnessed a consistent median clearance rate of 90%. Although this weekend has seen a decrease from 91% down to 87%, we will continue to monitor this over the next few weeks to see if this downward trend will continue to fall or rise again leading up to Christmas.
The interesting fact is that despite the lockdown period, buyers were still on the hunt and the supply is still low creating demand in the housing market.
